One of the joys of being on social media is the opportunity to meet some wonderful people from all over the world. We have met people from all walks of life - entrepreneurs, professors, physicians, photographers, writers, musicians, chefs and now.....the hosts of Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast in Missoula, Montana.
They are located in a very scenic area of snow-capped mountains, majestic trees and beautiful birds. One thing that attracted us to their Twitter account was the lovely pictures of birds on snow-covered feeders! They truly share our love for nature's feathered friends, such as this sweet Dark-Eyed Junco below.
Even though we've never had the pleasure of staying at this spectacular bed & breakfast, I can almost smell the aroma of homemade cinammon rolls and freshly brewed Blue Mountain coffee. We can envision the amazing Morrocan or Scandinavian dinner feasts in the romantic setting of a landscape that feels like an exquisite painting. We can also imagine a hot cup of cocoa while sitting on the wooden deck, watching a Stellar Jay as he visits the Blue Mountain Avian Buffet!
If the breakfast and dinners sounds truly amazing, imagine staying in one of the well-appointed and luxurious private rooms. The Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast will entice you with their lovely private rooms or suites in various themes, such as Western, Victorian or Japanese decor, complete with postcard views of Montana's stunning nature scenes.
These rooms would surely offer weary travelers a night of rest and relaxation before they walk outside to breathe in the cool morning air and explore the vast expanse of countryside on the full twenty acres of registered wildlife habitat that opens onto both state and federal land.
Maybe one day, we will have the golden opportunity to visit Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast in Missoula, Montana. This would be the opportunity of a lifetime, especially since we appreciate God's beautiful landscapes, snow-covered mountains and spectacular avian wonders. We want to thank Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast hosts Brady and Elaine Anderson-Wood for sharing with us the pictures of their magnificent piece of paradise in the mountains of Montana. May they enjoy the holidays, have a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
