Fear sees this.....

Poem by Curtis Beaird
A gray hanging haze shrouds the morning.
The thin light means it's day rather than night. You believe it.
But, the dark has not been chased away.
Shadows of dread linger. Night dreams hang on in the back of your mind.
Day flows as a lonely tear streaks down your cheek. Joy dawns, slow but sure, as stray rain drops wander their way down the cracked window pane.
Faith sees this......
The red, green, yellow and thick rich purple of a rainbow arches its way in front of the clouds.
Hope breaks through where hell would prevail.
The promise is greater than the lies the dark dread would tell. The rainbow completes its half circle. You taste faith on the tip of your tongue.
