Poem by Curtis Beaird
Photography by Norma Beaird
Boredom
The paralysis of imagination
The dilution of curiosity
The confusion of routine with discipline
Boredom
First dampens
Then deadens
Finally numbs us
to thoughts
of another day
Boredom
Ends
If we are lucky
in a state of refusal
and a leap
of risk.
