Waxing Gibbous Moon at 99% of full
August 9, 2014, a Prelude to the August 10th Supermoon

We photographed this almost Supermoon on August 9th, just in case we had cloud cover on August 10th. It's a good thing we photographed on the night before, because on the night of the actual Supermoon, we had very thick cloud cover. However, at 99% of full, we came pretty close to a great Supermoon!
