When we open up Le Avian Cafe in the morning, our feathered friends begin to gather in the trees while we fill up the buffet. Sometimes, the noisy Blue Jays show up first and sometimes it's the Red-Bellied Woodpeckers. The eager Northern Cardinals will perch overhead as we fill up the birdbath and paint the Peanut Butter Tree Spread on the limbs and branches.
At times, Leona, the Northern Mockingbird will hop on the feeder while we replenish another. Later on, she may bring her toddler Theo and introduce him to the variety of goodies at Le Avian Cafe.
Even our Red-Headed Woodpeckers, Valentino and Velvet, have brought their toddlers to the friendly world of Le Avian Cafe. We kinda think that Valentino and Velvet may be getting a few take-outs to store for the winter. But that's okay 'cause take-outs don't cost extra!
As you can tell, Le Avian Cafe is an all-you-can-eat buffet-style diner where feathered friends of all species can come together and enjoy a down home meal. A few have even learned to share and enjoy the fellowship of true Southern dining at its best.
Where they always come back for more!
