The following song so appropriately describes the photographs in this post.
Sometimes a song and a Bible verse says it best.
Psalm 37: 16 - 17
16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.
Proverbs 28: 18 - 23
18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved:
but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread:
but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings:
but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
21 To have respect of persons is not good:
for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
22 He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye,
and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.
23 He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour
than he that flattereth with the tongue.
Matthew 6: 19 - 21
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,
where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Luke 18: 22 - 25
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him,
Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful,
he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye,
than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
